Cherry Mcloughlin's work explores and celebrates the expression and multifaceted layers of the human condition. Often through the mean of portraiture, Mcloughlin has always been drawn to recording a snap shot of a person's life and the physical documentation of appearance and character.
Cherry Mcloughlin works in a range of media, but finds oil paint and charcoal the most sensitive and engaging mediums with many of her subject matters. As a fine artist and educator, Mcloughlin aims to capture the intricacies of a creative journey, and considers it to be at the centre of everything.
